Postcards of Herne

Over the years I have collected many postcards of Herne, most of which, unfortunately, show the shop on the corner - and, from what I can find out, it only seems to be famous for, well, being the shop on the corner!

At the moment I have not added any of these postcards to this website because of the amount of work still being done on so many other parts of this website, but I will get around to it, sometime.

[Steven Newport I have now added what postcards of Herne Bay I have found so far. Where I can, I have given a little extra detail.]

PD2 Herne Bay The Pier and Pavilion, Herne Bay
Published by Percey, E Iggulden. Curiously it says this postcard was printed in Germany, but not why or where. (Wikiteree 1, Unknown)
Herne Bay 123005 Herne Bay 123005
No printer or publisher is mentioned, but the 123005 I assume is some form of serial number.

The writing on the back (in pencil) is dated 27/7/(19)24, and can be read (rather faint) Here
